A German youth movement has called for mass demonstrations in 21 cities on October 31, after unrest spread across France, Italy and Spain.
The initiative, called "Gen Z regelt" ("Gen Z Got It"), is planning rallies in cities including Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich.
Organizers say they are protesting run-down schools, austerity, the cost of living, social injustice, conscription and climate change.
