French presidential candidate Jean-Luc Melanchon:

What can make us, the infinite, enjoy seeing a burning city hall?

Never in our lives!

A city hall is the people's house.

We do not agree with people who surround the people's house, whether in Marseille, Paris or anywhere else.

We don't agree to set it on fire.

Even when you are anti-clerical, you do not agree with the burning of Notre Dame.

It's the same thing.
