Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran. Esmaeil Baghaei on possible Egyptian military support for Saudi Arabia:

Security and stability in the Arabian Peninsula are important to us and to all the countries in the region.

However, we do not believe that any further intervention will benefit regional peace and security.

We believe this will only make the situation more complicated.

The Yemen issue must be resolved through dialogue and on the basis of the road map that was agreed upon several years ago.

Further intervention by the Islamic countries will not improve the situation. On the contrary, it will definitely make things difficult.
