Tesla unveiled its next generation Roadster, a literal flying car, with SpaceX-built cold gas thrusters and an intake system that allows it to drive upside down and flip over. The car comes in three variants, with the top 'Rocket' trim claiming 0-60km/h in less than 0.59 seconds, a top speed over 230km/h and limited flying capability, although it won't be road legal. Other features include active aerodynamics, steer-by-wire and design inspired by the SR-71 and F-35. Tesla claims a range of over 300 miles in the variants, and production is slated for 2028. Full pricing has not been released. Musk called it "the best of the last human-powered cars."
