Pete Hegseth's advisers are reportedly planning to delay the release of the Pentagon report on the US airstrike that hit the Shejara Taibeh elementary school in Minab, southern Iran, until after the midterm elections. In the attack, carried out on the first day of the war, more than 150 people were killed, including at least 123 children. According to the reports, the researchers found that flawed intelligence, outdated images and an over-reliance on AI contributed to the attack. The report has been almost completed for months.
