Foreign Minister Bader Abdelati:

"Everything asked by the Saudis, of course we will respond.

Without any reservation we provide any kind of support."

Egypt has strong reasons to act.

Houthi control of the Bab al-Mandab strait area is already affecting Suez Canal revenues. But Cairo remains historically wary of Yemeni entanglement.
