A new poll shows France's far-right leader Marine Le Pen and hard-left leader Jean-Luc Melenchon pulling ahead of other candidates ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Le Pen leads the first round with 35-37% support, while Mélenchon reaches the round in all five scenarios tested.
Le Pen is expected to defeat Melenchon comfortably in the second round.
