New: Iran's security chief threatens to damage US assets in the United Arab Emirates and submarine cables if the war resumes.
Maj. Gen. Mohsen Razai, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said Iran had not yet added "America's very valuable assets in the United Arab Emirates and around the Strait of Hormuz" to its target bank — but would do so in a new conflict.
He specifically listed cables, data centers and artificial intelligence facilities in the region, and estimated their value at over $2 trillion:
If another conflict occurs, many of them will be destroyed.
He added that Iran is "fully prepared to present new capabilities" and will respond with a "much broader and more extensive program."
