Sri Lanka says it has no immediate plans to help 19 Iranian oil tankers stranded in international waters off its coast, despite reports of food, water and fuel shortages.
The vessels were stranded for months after the US naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
Sri Lanka says it must prioritize national interests and weigh the risk of secondary US sanctions, although Washington has not issued a direct warning.
