US forces attacked and disabled a Panamanian-flagged commercial cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman on Saturday after it allegedly ignored warnings and tried to breach Washington's naval blockade of Iranian ports.
CENTCOM said the attack targeted the ship's propulsion system without harming its crew.
