The U.S. Justice Department is investigating whether ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and Fox News violated antitrust laws by jointly suspending televised coverage of President Trump's White House.

The networks suspended coverage for several days after Trump barred a CNN reporter from the White House on Sept. 18, leaving several presidential events without major network footage.

The Justice Department argues that the coordinated suspension may constitute an illegal class boycott.
