The FT, citing Saudi sources, says 50 have been admitted to a hospital near the airport with some in a serious condition.

Other hospitals also received casualties and major facilities across Riyadh activated emergency disaster response protocols.

AFP reports that at least five are in intensive care (all Saudis), some have been airlifted, and emergency doctors have been called across the capital.

At least 12 dead and 50+ injured.

Injuries included shattered glass wounds from the ceiling collapse near gates 401/403.

Among the injured were pilgrims involved in the attack.

Saudi authorities have officially confirmed only "a number" of injuries and no deaths so far.
