Turkey's AKINCI drone scored a direct hit on its first shot with ASELSAN's new MGK (MORFOZ) guidance kit over the Saros Gulf.

MORFOZ turns standard general purpose bombs into gliding ammunition.

It features folding wings for disengagement range, INS/GNSS navigation, an 8-channel CRPA antenna to resist GPS jamming, selectable impact angle (including steep/vertical dive), and real-time telemetry back to the launch aircraft until impact.

The test adds the MORFOZ training kit to AKINCI's extensive arsenal of 20+ indigenous munitions, from MAM-series smart bombs to the ÇAKIR cruise missile and İHA-series supersonic missiles.
