Labor won the Holborn and St Pancras by-election, with Segal Abdi-Wally securing 45% of the vote (12,292 votes), defeating Green Party leader Zak Polanski, who received 8,928 votes.
Abdi-Wali, a former Somali refugee child and leader of Camden Council, is taking over the seat previously held by Keir Starmer.
