A new analysis of CDC data shows a sharp decline in teenage girls in the US who identify as lesbian or bisexual.
Among 9th grade girls, the figure dropped from 30% in 2021 to 17% in 2025, while those who identify as bisexual dropped from 26% to 13%.
The decline is concentrated among younger girls, with rates among boys and older teenagers remaining relatively stable.
