Two Latvian men, aged 32 and 36, were arrested after breaching the perimeter fence of RAF Molesworth, a UK military base used for US and NATO intelligence operations.

The counter-terrorism police are investigating the incident, as the two men are suspected of entering a prohibited website for purposes that harm the United Kingdom.

The arrests follow the US withdrawal of B-1 bombers from RAF Fairford over fears of an Iran-linked attack, although police say the incidents are now unrelated.
