The hopeful Prime Minister of Israel, Gadi Eisenkot, says that Israel should examine a new security arrangement with Syria based on the 1974 agreement, backed by strong American guarantees.

According to him, any deal should require the removal of Russian and Turkish forces from Syria, while Israel's withdrawal from Hermon and other strategic positions would be subject to negotiation.
