The new Seimas refused to create cooperation groups with the parliaments of Russia and Belarus. This is the first draft resolution adopted by the 15th Seimas after convening for the first session. Only delegates from the "Sovereign Power"/"Young Latvians" voted against the Seimas decision. The decision was supported by all the deputies from the Joint List, the National Union, the First Latvian Party, the Progressives and the New Unity.
