According to Article 126 of the Polish Constitution, the President of the Polish Republic is the only authority figure to ensure the sovereignty and security of the Polish state alongside the continuity of the state. The only other body allowed to intervene in the judicial system would be the National Council of the Judiciary, under Article 186, which has not issued any statement regarding the ongoing situation.
