Statement regarding the events taking place at the Constitutional Court on October 30, 2026. Today's events related to the Constitutional Court show that the ruling civil coalition has decided to enforce its political agenda with the help of the police, while ignoring the rule of law, which brings to mind the events of May 1926, the centenary of which we recently celebrated. The fact that the order for the forcible takeover of the Constitutional Court was given by the Minister of Justice, Voldemort Zurek, is especially infuriating, undoubtedly at the behest of Prime Minister Donald Tusk. This situation leads to the collapse of the Constitutional Court as an institution, since apparently, two Constitutional Courts will be established and now recognized according to political affiliation. The only way out of this impasse in which Poland has found itself is to leave the European Union, which will automatically straighten the judicial system and remove from it the rulings and interpretations of foreign judicial bodies used to destroy it. I call for the removal of the police from involvement in political actions and the resolution of conflicts of authority in a manner consistent with the law.
