The UK has announced a planned £2.5 billion 10-year joint venture with Rolls-Royce to develop next-generation jet engine technologies for civil aviation and defense space. The initiative will expand advanced manufacturing, build new engine assembly and testing facilities and strengthen Britain's aerospace capabilities, subject to a final agreement.
