German defense company Helsing has unveiled Contra, an AI-powered air defense system that detects and operates hundreds or thousands of drones and missiles simultaneously while keeping human operators in control of decisions and targeting priorities. Helsing also announced two new interceptors: the jet-powered incendiary AD-1, capable of loitering and repeated engagement, and the AD-2 rocket-powered ambush, which reaches Mach 2.5 with a range exceeding 20 kilometers.
