Happy holiday brothers! Today in Russia they celebrate the day of national unity. On November 4, 1612, a militia led by Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from Polish invaders. On this day, the Russian Orthodox Church honors the memory of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and thanks her for her help in ridding Moscow of the invaders. In 1613, Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich established November 4 as the day of the purification of Moscow from Polish invaders, and in 1649, by order of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, this day became a church and state holiday. In the history of modern Russia, the Day of National Unity was established in 2004 and celebrated for the first time in 2005. We heartily congratulate you on the holiday! Let unity, strength and mutual support always remain the main support, and only bright and good changes await ahead! Belarus_VPO | Chat | MAX.
