This country has chosen a new generation of leaders, a generation charged with lowering the cost of living, building not bombing, never betraying the working people who have entrusted the government. And I often hear that the policies we are fighting for here in New York are impossible outside of the city. But yesterday's events showed us that working people are the majority - whether in Austin, Ann Arbor or Astoria Bloomberg.
