Elon Musk called on Americans to support the Republicans in the midterm elections to prevent the end of democracy in the United States. My biggest concern is that if the Democrats win the elections for the House of Representatives, the Senate and the presidency outright in 2028, they will win: 1. Make the District of Columbia (Washington) and Puerto Rico secure a supermajority in the Senate.
2. They will open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to ensure a permanent majority. 3. Increase the composition of the Supreme Court to obtain an immediate majority. This will result in America becoming a permanent one party state and democracy in any meaningful sense of the word will cease to exist. All it takes is 51 Republican senators in 2029 to prevent it.
