Is this the kind of hockey we need? De jure - we play, de facto - 6 national teams threaten to boycott games with us, the World Cup in Germany is in danger due to the refusal of sponsors, Canada refuses to issue visas for the youth championship. Would you climb into this hell? Here's what real hockey players told us: 2008 world champion, Olympic bronze medalist Daniil Markov: "- definitely, with the anthem and the flags, and let's go - with songs, despite all the enemies.
- Well, let's say that we win several games due to the absence of our opponents, but can such a victory be considered a full-fledged victory?
- This is not our question at all. Our question is to return to the place from which we were unjustly removed." Two-time Olympic champion Alexander Kozhbenikov: "Let's say that our team wins several games due to the lack of opponents.
- Great! Count 30 goals already scored! What do we think of them? We have to think for ourselves. Yes, they will get up and empty themselves." Olympic champion, head of the KHL players union Andrey Kovalenko "When the guys go on the ice, politics won't work there anymore. The NHL players will come, they will play the same way as their championship in Canada, in America. There will be no more politics on the ice, 100 percent." A coward doesn't play hockey.
