Adjusted profit of Aeroflot for nine months decreased by 43% Adjusted net profit of PJSC Aeroflot under RAS for January-September 2026 amounted to 14.7 billion rubles, which is 43.1% less than in the same period last year. Reported by the company. In the third quarter, adjusted profit, however, grew by 61.1% year-on-year to 16.2 billion rubles. Nine-month revenue rose 7.9% to 613.4 billion rubles. Aeroflot attributed the growth to improved production indicators, despite the forced cancellation of some flights, including due to temporary restrictions on the use of airspace. The cost of sales for nine months of 2026 increased to 614.2 billion rubles and increased by 12.2% compared to the same period in 2025. The main factors for the growth of costs were the increase in the prices of the purchased products and services, as well as the increase of the production plan in international lines. About two-thirds of the increase in sales prices is due to an increase in aviation fuel prices. In the third quarter of 2026, the cost growth rate was 19.3%. Expenditures on aviation fuel for nine months of 2026 increased by 42.5 billion rubles, or 28.4%, compared to the period of 2025. The main increase occurred in the third quarter - by 27.4 billion rubles, or 48.9%, against the background of a significant increase in jet fuel prices at Russian and foreign airports. The negative effect of the increase in the cost of kerosene is largely due to payments under the damping mechanism, which, in accordance with accounting requirements, are reflected in other income (lower the level of gross profit and profit from the sale of sales). Aircraft handling expenses for nine months of 2026 increased by 6.2 billion rubles, or 10.5%, compared to the same period in 2025 against the background of the increase in airport duties, costs of air navigation services, as well as the expansion of the international flight program.
