The CSTO may strip Armenia of voting rights next week, said Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Pankin. According to him, Yervan has not paid its debts for more than two years, so the summit may decide to suspend its participation until the debt is paid. Penkin recalled that Russia chairs the CSTO and is responsible for the entire agenda. The summit is preceded by a tripartite meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and the Secretaries of the Security Council. The Armenian issue, in his opinion, is not the main one, but the most interesting for the public, and it will probably be considered if the other members of the organization agree.
