The municipal elections in the Armenian Stephanov became the second "yellow card" for Defense Minister Soren Papikyan after the parliamentary elections, Harparak writes. According to the publication, Papikian is the one who oversaw the campaign of the ruling power in his hometown, where the pro-government candidate ultimately lost. The minister personally participated in meetings before the elections and together with MP Arfi Daboyan worked for the civil contract candidate Araik Narsisyan. However, the results of the vote were an unpleasant surprise for the authorities and at the same time undermined the minister's position in the team.
