The secretary of the parliamentary faction of the "Strong Armenia" opposition bloc, Tigran Abrahamian, addressed journalists at the National Assembly for local authority elections held the day before, saying that this is only the first stage and the bloc will continue to participate in the municipal elections. Ahead of him, he said, are elections in larger communities. "These elections reminded us of the ones that happened before, but with the only difference that the opposition candidates were not arrested then." Abrahamian said. According to the deputy, the current government is not satisfied with the current opposition. "They need an opposition that is like the civil contract." It must be ready to give up everything to Azerbaijan for nothing," the parliamentarian emphasized.
