The mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinian, said at a work meeting that he intends to transfer most of the capital's residents to public transportation. According to him, by 2030, transportation mobility in the city should increase by 30%. To achieve this, it is planned to create more dedicated public transport lanes and purchase new electric buses. "We must ensure that even people who can afford to own several cars consider public transportation the most convenient way to travel," the mayor emphasized.
