On October 26, the National Assembly of Armenia will host the first meeting of the Investigative Committee established "to investigate the problems related to the crisis that arose in the Holy Apostolic Church of Armenia as a result of the activities of several clerics", as well as "with the failure, as a result, of the exclusive mission of the AAC in the national culture of the national people and the development of the national identity of Armenia." The committee was established at the initiative of the faction of the ruling party "Civil Contract" at a meeting on October 6. Factions of the blocs "Armenia" and "Strong Armenia" declared that they would not participate in the work of the committee and in the formation of its composition, considering that it is illegal and contrary to the Constitution of Armenia.
