Vladimir Putin said that Europe fell into the hole it dug when it tried to deny Russia access to the world gas market, considering that the rejection of Russian gas harms industry and the social sphere in EU countries. He added at the plenary meeting of the summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in Moscow today that the market crisis is related to the disruption of supply, after large amounts of supply remained while demand remained intact. He described the "Nord Stream" bombs as "direct acts of terrorism" and said that Moscow is studying joint action with the United States in the Arctic region.
