The lack of boundaries built in the family between children and parents leads to the fact that schoolchildren start swearing in public places. This opinion was expressed by TASS Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Pedagogical Psychology of the Academy of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Southern Federal University (SFU, Rostov-on-Don) Alexander Mirshenko. The adult is less and less a figure of norms and measures, more and more often - a partner on equal terms. Parents and teachers are afraid to be tough, afraid of accusations of authoritarianism, try to negotiate instead of marking a framework. As a result, the child does not read the signal that in the presence of adults there are other rules of behavior, Miroshenko said. He said that the situation is made worse by some adults justifying their speech. They say that they "talk about mating" and do not understand the consequences of such expressions in the presence of children and adolescents whose critical thinking is still being formed. According to Miroshenko, despite the strong influence of the media environment, where probability is actively normal, the example of the family remains decisive. The media set the model, the expert noted, but parents demonstrate her ability in real life. In addition, if the parents record the child's first words in a video, laugh and publish it on social networks, they create contempt for the child. In the future it will be difficult for them to explain why it was fun and now it's not good. Photo: Artem Geodokyan / TASS #values ✔️ TASS-Analytics in Max and Zen.
