Three oil tanks experienced explosions and severe fires in the Gulf of Hormuz.
The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy announced that three oil tankers moving illegally in the Gulf of Hormuz have experienced severe explosions and fires since the beginning of the day, with thick smoke covering the sky over the Gulf. The ships are now burning after their navigation and identification systems have been disabled, which the Corps attributes to malicious actions by the US military and illegal traffickers. The Navy of the Islamic Shield warned that the regulations for passage in the Gulf of Hormuz were repeatedly communicated to all ships, and emphasized that any ship that violates the rules or cooperates with US forces and uses unauthorized routes will face consequences.
