Wall Street Journal:
Saudi Arabia contacted the Houthis to find out what was needed to reach a ceasefire, and the response from the group was $51 billion to cover the costs of years of Saudi strikes and a long blockade. The message was clear: the price of withdrawal would reach tens of billions of dollars. The Houthis are not satisfied with this, but demand that the kingdom officially recognize them as the rulers of Yemen.
