The Public Relations of the Ground Forces of the Revolutionary Guards announced that its forces were able, thanks to accurate intelligence information, to thwart a terrorist operation before it was carried out, after noticing the squad that had been under surveillance in the past.
The operation resulted in the killing of one of the group's members and a number of others, while the pursuit of the other fugitives continued.
