As the Yemeni forces advance in al-Maktra, operations may move towards encircling the pro-Saudi forces in the capital Mudarba al-Shatin and besieging it from three axes, then advance towards the coast to cut off the supply lines of the advancing forces towards Bab al-Mandab, the remaining al-Dhu-Ba airport areas of Ras and al-Dhu-Bab.
If this is achieved, the pro-Saudi forces advancing towards the coast will find themselves besieged on the ground unless they withdraw.
