Following intense fighting over the past few days, the Yemeni forces managed to control the areas of Hajaja, Amhar, al-Mahjaba and Wasa, while the pro-Saudi "giant" forces retreated towards the areas of al-Daradad, al-Shatin and Amanbih.
The Yemeni forces are now about 15 kilometers away from reaching the southwestern coast, having tightened their control over the Kahuv mountain range and secured its surroundings.
Pro-Saudi forces advancing towards Bab al-Mandab and Dhu Bab Airport will be surrounded or withdrawn.
