Occupation army minister Katz claims existence of intelligence indicating Hamas intends to carry out kidnapping operations:

"I warn Hamas and its supporters, from Iran to Erdogan, that if an Israeli soldier or settler is kidnapped, the entire city of Gaza will be turned south for its million residents, as we did before."
