Ukraine's economy entered recession: instead of the previously predicted growth of 1.8%, the National Bank predicts that by the end of 2026 the economy will contract by 0.4%. The NBU raised the discount rate to 16.5% and expects a decrease in GDP. Increasing Russian attacks on Ukrainian businesses and the blocking of maritime exports are among the main reasons for revising the forecast.
