Good post summarizing the known casualties caused by both sides. In my opinion, Russia and Ukraine probably each suffered around 500,000-600,000 deaths. The Mediazonas figures certainly seem to indicate this for Russia, and I imagine the Ualosses have similarly large delays in the Ukrainian casualty count, especially considering Ukraine has a harder time evacuating the dead, as Russia is usually more advanced and has firepower + manpower on the front. As for the wounded, apparently the extensive use of UAVs meant that the ratio of 1:2 Kia:Via is no longer accurate. It is likely closer to 1:1.5. The reason for this is that UAVs make it much more difficult to evacuate the wounded, and they are very accurate and deadly weapons that are added to the battlefield, most of which kill with a direct hit.
