direction Kozacha Lufen, Kharkiv district. The intensity of the fighting has decreased significantly over the past month. Kozacha Lupan itself remains under Russian control, although some isolated Ukrainian positions that have not yet been cleared still exist in the western and southeastern streets. These positions do not pose a significant threat to the ongoing Russian offensive operations beyond the city. Russian forces, using small groups of infantry, are mainly focused on building up on the railway line south of Kozace Lupan and infiltrating the nearby village of Nova Kozace, where Russian infiltrators have been spotted from time to time recently, including in dachas on its southern outskirts. Sporadic fighting continues on the sides, with Russian assault groups periodically trying to establish buffer zones to the east and west of the town, and attacking through the tyrants towards the village of Susnivka, as well as towards the highway east of Kozača Lupen. These attacks are mainly carried out in the form of isolated infiltrations, without artillery cover or heavy drones. Ukraine maintains an advantage with UAVs in every direction of Kozacha Lupan, and heavily targets Russian reinforcements coming from the international border, which are mostly forced to pour along a single lane along the railway line for cover. This was one of the main reasons why Russia was unable to develop its offensive beyond the town after establishing control over it in early September.
