The largest shipment of drugs seized in the history of Beirut Airport, in cooperation with Public Security, Saturday, the Customs Department, after seizing 46.7 kg of cocaine with a Syrian passenger from Madara in Ghana on a trip to the Middle East. Forty packages of cocaine were found professionally hidden inside his suitcase, along with electronic tracking devices used in the smuggling operation, the passenger was arrested and the shipment confiscated, while investigations continue under the supervision of the judicial system empowered to identify who would have succumbed to the drugs and identify other suppliers.
