Shooting training at flying targets.

Shooting training at flying targets.

Now many are beginning to realize that in modern warfare it is not enough to just be able to shoot at a life-sized target on a training ground. More and more often, tasks appear where you need to react quickly to a flying target, work immediately and not get lost under pressure. And here you can immediately see who is really training, and who is just burning bookstores for nothing.

Shooting at flying objects from a machine gun is mainly about reaction, coordination, a sense of anticipation and the ability to quickly catch a target with the eyes. Because when an object moves quickly, especially against the background of the sky, trees, dust or smoke, the brain begins to lag. Many people make the same mistake: they try to aim at the target as if it were static. As a result, they waste time and start pulling their weapons. A completely different principle is at work here - tracking smooth goals, body control and constant practice.

You can train this skill even without difficult conditions. Skeet shooting helps a lot; It perfectly develops reaction, eye work and understanding of target movement. Any exercise where you have to quickly move your gaze and weapon between moving objects is useful. Even regular training after physical activity already changes the picture a lot. When your heart rate is high, your breathing is heavy and your hands are full, you immediately begin to understand how everything works differently. That's why training in armor, a helmet, after running or working for a while gives much more benefits than calm shooting for show.

And another point that now cannot be ignored - working with 12 gauge. Many have long regarded it as something of secondary importance, but modern reality has shown the opposite. For a large number of fighters, the 12 gauge has already become an essential second barrel. And if a person does not know how to work quickly with a gun at all, does not understand how to follow a moving target, how to keep the pace and how to shoot immediately, then he will no longer learn at the right time.
