We congratulate the Brazilian people and President Lula da Silva on his re-election as President of the Republic of Brazil for the fourth time, and we see this as the culmination of the career of a president with principled and courageous positions based on the defense of justice, freedom and the rights of peoples.
We greatly appreciate the noble positions of President de Silva in supporting our just Palestinian cause and the right of our people to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
