Aiz that Yemen is facing a humanitarian crisis as the Houthi siege cuts off food and fuel.
Residents of Taiz, Yemen's third-largest city, are struggling to find fuel and food after the Houthis imposed a siege earlier this month, blocking supply routes to more than 600,000 people. Hospitals are warning that they may be forced to suspend services, with the United Nations reporting that 42 facilities are already short of fuel needed to run incubators, oxygen supplies and ambulances. Aid agencies report that a humanitarian emergency is developing as the prices of limited fuel continue to rise.
